december seven

we were planning on a babysitter tonight so we did things a little out of sequence.

seiously? a remote control fire truck? made of legos? what can't you make from legos?

the activity for the day was to go to the free night at children's museum of manhattan. right now they have an exhibit called eat sleep play that's all about our bodies and health. and this is what i took pictures of.

do not climb on the intestines, but feel free to crawl all around inside of them.

i didn't really pay attention, but i'm pretty sure i can guess what part of the digestion process simon is sticking his head out of. and if i'm right, there was a huge toilet right next to it.  how i failed to get a picture of the toilet? i don't know. inside of the bowl was a screen with videos of what you might find inside a toilet after you've used it, and explained why it might come out one way or another. it was lovely, truly lovely.

 then we went up to the third floor.

there was a fire truck. i know simon made his way in there, but he was all over the place.
