robert graduated

even though robert had been done with classes and exams for a week, law school didn't feel over until graduation. i think i was more emotional than he was. 

robert had to be at school a couple hours before graduation even started. and this is where they had to wait. for at least an hour. it wasn't a cool day.

the graduates finally started their procession to get to their seats. and so many people ran up to the side of guest seating to capture a picture of their person. including me. i waited a long time. robert was about 400th out of 450.

and here we are during commencement. it was long. and hot. and a little boring. but i was still so happy to be there.

i was especially touched that robert was allowed to walk with our kids. shouldn't i have been able to go too? really, this was definitely a family experience.

 

maybe this guy will someday graduate from law school, like his dad and papa. but if you ask him now, he's going to be a fireman.
