easter egg hunt

i'm so happy to have a friend like lesley that organizes such amazing gatherings. her latest? an easter egg hunt in central park. it was a perfect day. not only is lesley great at parties, but photos too. she's the one that took mim's newborn pictures. here's her blog.

i really can't do this cake justice. it was delicious. and amazing that pete the mighty baker is self taught. and the fondant was homemade, with marshmallow, which makes it better than most fondant. i wish i could do that. all of it.

lesley thinks of every detail. that's why her parties are so great. she always has favors (because she's legit). they're even labeled. and i love that there was a bubble blower. bubbles make everything better.

simon found some candies on the table. he didn't know it was hot though. it didn't last very long in his mouth.

he was great on the hunt. he didn't have the most eggs. fine by me. he did say he didn't have very many. then he found one more and said that was enough. good thing, there weren't anymore left at that point.
