i took the kids to a wild animal show last week. above is a ring tailed cat. would you believe this wild creature is most commonly found in southern utah? it's such a cool cat.
your token tortoise and turtle. one of them kept pooping while a tween boy was volunteering to hold it. really, multiple times it pooped. i think the kid was pretty bummed about it.
this cockatoo was pretty cool too. the lady kept (gently) shaking the bird to get it to show it's feathers.
this next one was by far my favorite. i love these animals, and if they were good pets i'd get one. sadly, sugar gliders make horrible pets. i was allowed to hold it. only for a second though. that guy could not stop moving.
