since we have a kid that doesn't nap in the afternoon we don't nap either. that makes sunday afternoons really long. but since we have a baby that does nap, we only have a small window to get out of the house. so we went to bridal veil falls. it's close enough that we don't feel like we have to stay long at all to make it worth going.
robert and mim watched as simon and i waded in the water. well, i waded in the water and simon decided he'd rather be rock hopping. and of course there are no pictures of that, since robert doesn't take pictures.
this is the face simon gave me because i was taking pictures and not playing catch with him and the red ball.
i rarely take pictures of subjects other than my kids, but as i create this post i can see how a picture of the falls would have fit in quite nicely.
update: we went back the following day, and i got a picture of the falls.
