happy baby

one sign of a happy simon is he doesn't wake up from his nap crying. instead i hear a gentle rattling noise on the monitor. i didn't really think anything of it, just that maybe he had gas or was moving around in his sleep, until about 5 minutes later when simon started cooing and i knew he was awake. this is what he was doing when i went into his room

he's just so happy, and very pleased with himself for rolling onto his back.

did you notice his feet?
