updates

my main update is that simon is no longer wearing gdiapers with cloth inserts. i really like gdiapers, and i think they might have worked if we used the flushable inserts, but since we can't flush them in our basement they just weren't worth the expense. and more traditional cloth diapers might have worked well, but i tried using gdiapers with cloth and that was as much as i wanted to put into cloth diapers for this baby.

so, now he wears nature babycare, and these are even better than the pamper's swaddlers we were using before. i still think gdiapers are the best option for the environment, but nature babycare diapers are a close second. this is a good article for anyone trying to decide what kind of diapers to go with.

i'm not sure what else to say. simon has grown so much (as evidenced in prior post), he doesn't fit into half of his clothes anymore. we had to take the newborn insert out of his carseat/carrier (it makes him look small again). well, nothing else that i can think of, so i guess i'll just post some pictures.



these pictures were taken today. first time wearing shoes for him. it was pretty cold outside (high of 61), so we wanted to keep him warm! also, someone bought me this hoodie, and i wondered why someone would get me a size 0-3 month hoodie for a baby born in june...but i'm sure glad she did.
