boats

one of the things simon loved about hong kong was all the different modes of transportation. sure, i think new york offers all the same options (except for trams), but we took the star ferry all the time in hong kong. there aren't as many occasions to take a ferry here.

the star ferry was a quick ride to kowloon, where there is a ton to do. the staten island ferry takes 30 minutes, and i don't even know what there is to do there. we just got off the boat and got back on.

the ride did provide some pretty great views of downtown. simon loved it. and i think lee really enjoyed sharing the experience with simon.
