korean chrysanthemums bloom every fall in the central park conservatory. luckily, i found out about it just one or two days before the "event" ended, so i dragged simon with me to check it out. i don't think he was too thrilled about posing for this.


but i did somehow manage to get this awesome face out of him.
i thought this fountain was pretty, but simon still didn't want to cooperate for a good picture. and when he did i kind of forgot about any photography lessons i'd learned about the rule of thirds.
i'm glad we went when we did, because the park was in a rush to clear out the flowers. half the garden was already pulled.

Why are they pulling them when they still look so beautiful? I'm totally in the dark on this one.
