family pictures

these actually aren't our first attempt at family pictures. the first attempt was taken on the day simon was blessed. i hope very few people ever see that picture. these pictures were taken for the ward newsletter and came out much much better. and now everyone that wanted to see a better picture of simon's face can be satisfied.

8/5/12 - him, while watching bob the builder: "daddy, they're using varnish!" "why?" "ugh, to protect against rain and other weather. i don't like saying that all the time."

6/1/12 - him: "i'm full of it." (to be fair, he was talking about his lunch.)
