thanksgiving

we are two for two on going to see the macy's thanksgiving day parade balloons being inflated. it didn't seem as busy and crazy this year. i thought we got there earlier this time, but robert thinks it was the same time of day. the line outside the gates was pretty quick. simon enjoyed his wait on robert's shoulders.

and apparently he made it back up on robert's shoulders for the last stretch too.

it was hard to take pictures, at least i managed to get something with snoopy in it, even if i could only get a good shot of either robert or simon.

I had every intention of taking pictures of our wonderful dinner. but i guess i got caught up in all the preparations. it makes me sad though. i wish i had visual documentation of it. we enjoyed the day with rachel, chad and lee. thanks for making it a day to be thankful for.
