halloween

we carved pumpkins this year. and i didn't take a single picture. it's all miriam's fault.that's become a common theme among posts. miriam keeps me from taking pictures.

simon spent a lot of time playing instead of carving pumpkins. thank you ariel for taking a picture of talia with simon.

simon's preschool had a halloween party and parade. miss amy let simon keep hold of the bell as part of his costume. she's so great with the kids.

 

i didn't get any pictures at the ward halloween party (thanks again mim), but ariel got a group picture as we were leaving.

friends from church hosted a halloween party for our weekly playgroup. it was complete with face painting. i've tried to get simon's face painted before, but he never had any interest. he was way into it this time. he wanted a firefighter painted on his face, or maybe just a fire.

finally, it was time for trick-or-treating, city style, with liam. first stop was chase bank, then whole foods wine store where they scored a cookie, honest ade juice, and a bag of chips.

these kids had so much fun running and singing happy halloween together. and going into all the stores to get candy. thank you nina for the pictures. any guess why i didn't take any?

while trick-or-treating on broadway we ran into a couple friends. strange how they all put their fingers in the same place.

last year, we didn't do so much for halloween. Just the church party and knocking on doors in our building.  looks like he had a lot of fun doing the same again this year.
