april ended

april was a busy month. robert's cousin got married the same day as my flight to arizona. we went straight from the reception lunch to the airport.



the flight to az was pretty empty. simon got his own seat.


there were lots of new toys for simon to play with at grandma's house. he especially loved anything that allowed him to play outside.



and he continued his tradition of naked simon before bath time.



pre-bath time was also when we would talk to robert.


grandma has many plants and a garden to water. simon found a new favorite.


new park also means new play things. simon's park doesn't have one of these cool domed windows.





having aunt rachel meet us in az was like heaven, for both simon and me. she played with him nonstop, spoiling both him and his mom.




we went to mesa for a few hours to see family. it was so hot. simon's face got so red. not five minutes in the car and simon was sleeping.


the last two days of our trip we stayed with a friend in gilbert. just down the street from her house was a park with a big pond. simon loves water. he even bit me the worst he's ever bit when i had to carry him away from the pond and back to the house.


simon's car seat wouldn't latch in molly's car, so he stole bo's seat. i think he likes it.
