one is just not enough

as much as i tried to avoid it, simon is so spoiled that he had 2, yes, 2 birthday parties. since mommy grandpa and aunt rachel were here on his actual birthday we were sure to celebrate while they were here. you've seen those pictures. then ggpa and ma, nana and papa and lala were in town, so we celebrated with them too. seriously, so spoiled.

what's this?

clothes from nana and papa, yea!

a book too, thank you!

another book from ggma & ggpa!

cars from uncle lee-0!

more from ggma and ggpa. simon even knows how to use the hammer now!

oh? something from taiwan??

tasty!

as much as i wanted to make this cake, i don't know that i'll do it again. simon loves domo, and yes, so do i. i really thought this cake would be easy to make, just like i thought the monkey would be easy. i should have learned from the monkey though. oh, and domo has a broken shoulder. it was a hectic day. if i do ever make a birthday cake again, i hope i'll remember to not make it on the day of.

it is possible that simon liked his domo cake just a little more than his monkey cake. just look at this mess!

thank you everyone that celebrated with us!

When i read the title I thought, "Lynda must be making an announcement...one kid is not enough" but then I saw the rest. Or does it have a double meaning? What is that thing on your arm?

simon is looking so cute and big. but really, i just want to know what that thing is on your arm.

first, there is no double meaning behind the title of this post. i hadn't even thought of freaking people out like that :) second, that thing on my arm is like a bodybugg (like they have on biggest loser). it measures calories burned, and some other stuff.

Yay for Simon! No one can ever have enough b-day fun and I love, love the cakes. I can tell you love being a mom! Love the "fig leaf" too, haha. :-) Hugs
