we had a full house for christmas, and i learned something. first, we had christmas morning with robert's parents, his dad's parents, my dad, lee, and then our little family of three. it was really nice. not everyone had the same amount of presents, so simon's presents were opened by several different people. i hope that made it nicer for everyone. and i must mention, we didn't buy anything for simon for christmas! thank you grandparents! so, for the future, if we are still in this basement, or still in the same house as everyone else, we are having our own christmas before we get together with the family, even if it has to be in our bedroom or something. luckily simon is so young that he won't know the difference, but now is the time for us to start our own traditions. i wonder what we'll come up with for next year.

aaaaw simon is so cute! he sits up by himself - blowing my mind. that looks like a rad toy he got there too!
