but i thought it was about time to leave some sort of post. I've been to the dr. a couple of times in the past few weeks, and this is what he says:
1. baby grows twice its size last 8 weeks. so the last picture of my belly is nothing compared to what it is now or will be. i'll have to take another picture soon.
2. baby is going to be big. the average size of a baby is 7 lbs. 3 oz. he says mine will probably be over 8 lbs. this makes me sad. but dr. also says the bigger the baby the bigger the gas tank, meaning fewer feedings or something. whatever, i'm just worried about getting the baby out.
3. also, dr said because i'm having my first baby after my 27th birthday there is a 90% chance that i'll still be pregnant on june 22 (my due date is june 21), and there is a 70% chance that i'll carry for 41 weeks. oh yea. but really, these are just statistics and i know so many people who have defied such statistics. we'll see.
nothing else is going on. robert and i are still working. i'll probably keep working until june 12. no point in starting leave any earlier if i'm going to carry past my due date.
